HOLLYWOOD VINE WINE TASTING Tuesday December 17th 2019              6-9 Pm No charge for Tastings 2015 Gramona La Cuvee Gran Reserva Cava Cava, Spain Few Cava producers in Spain begin their range with a vintage Gran Reserva made exclusively from organically-farmed Xarel.lo and Macabeo but then again Gramona is far from your typical Cava house. Pale yellow, steel edges (white gold). Medium intensity aromas. Elegant floral notes wrapped in stone fruit – peach, apricot, golden apple, lemon peel, closed by a shy note of raw almond .Round entrance, medium enveloping body, crispy carbonic texture. In the retro-nasal route citrus memories return, the apple, the almond. One Stone is a tribute to all of the women who move mountains, one stone at a time. A portion of each bottle sold is donated to Dream Big Darling, a nonprofit that provides mentorship programs for the next generation of female leaders in the wine and spirits industry. The 2017 One Stone Cabernet Sauvignon opens with classic varietal aromas of dark fruit, black olive and graphite with notes of toasty oak and toffee. The palate is full and round, showing generous currant and black fruit flavors with suggestions of cedar, mint, spice and savory tobacco.
