The frothy, foaming mousse is exuberant and highlights these strawberry shortcake flavors brilliantly, while a totally dry palate makes sure that this stays classy. This is very satisfying, fun and fruit-driven, with a serious core and a bright, lemony finish. The palate shows bright notes of ripe strawberry that lead into a soft minerality. A lively acidity accents the ripe fruit flavors and carries the wine into a crisp finish. The structure is rich, with bold tannins extending the finish. As a result, grapes from Lodi tend to produce wines at the fleshy, plummy, ripe end of the flavor spectrum. This wine is blended using Zinfandel, Syrah, and Petite Sirah and carefully selected. This wine is medium bodied, smooth and beautifully balanced. Bearitage Lodi Red Wine delivers abundant fruit flavors and aromas reminiscent of cherries, plums and blackberries.
