2016 Golden Chardonnay
Carmel, California
The golden yellow hue is clearly embraced through the clear glass bottle.
Classic tropical and stone fruit aromas of peaches, pineapple, papaya, apricot, and banana with notes of lemon zest, orange blossom, and vanilla cream. In the glass, there is a sophisticated balance of fruit, mineral, oak, and acid. The fruit and acid are at the forefront with bright pineapple, peach, and star fruit. The minerality lingers on the mid-palate and finish. The oak is very subtle, and grounds the flavors by adding a soft vanilla bean nuttiness, like the perfect pie crust of a meringue pie.

2014 Grgich Hills Fume Blanc
Napa Valley, California
Dark golden-hay in color, this white was fermented mostly in 900-gallon French oak foudres, with the remainder fermented in smaller French oak barrels. Nutty lime and gooseberry provide intrigue and saltiness against bright acidity, making for a complex and compelling impression on the palate. 91 Pts Wine Enthusiast

2015 Cesari Boscarel
Veneto, Italy.
30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 70% Merlot
Shows notes of wild berries upfront, quickly followed by hints of violets. It is full in body with soft tannins and a lingering finish. Each varietal is vinified separately after which they are blended together to undergo malolactic fermentation and left to rest for 6 months.

2008 Dehesa La Granja
Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León , Spain
Deep ruby. A complex, perfumed bouquet evokes dark berries, cola, smoked meat and mint. Supple and expansive on the palate, offering gently sweet blackberry and cherry-cola flavors that are firmed and lifted by juicy acidity. The smoky note repeats on the finish, which hangs on with very good tenacity and a whisper of fine-grained tannins. A fine effort for the vintage and delicious right now. 91 Pts Vinous

2015 Whiplash Zinfandel
Lodi, California
Brilliant ruby red in color, boasts aromas of dark cherries, boysenberry, plum and blueberry. Layers of juicy red berries explode on the palate. Mild hints of toasted oak lengthen the finish but don’t overwhelm the fruit. Soft tannins and a hint of sweetness lead to a rich, delightful finish on the palate.
