NV Charles De Fere Blanc de Blanc
Just outside Champagne, France
Pale golden color with delicate bubbles. White fresh fruit bouquet (pear, apple). A clean fresh attack. Pleasant to the taste thanks to a well-balanced dosage.
Btg $6.50 Retail $12.99

2015 Masseria Altemura Primitivo
Puglia, Italy
Ruby red with purple hues, Prominent tobacco and leather on the nose; ripe blackberry and blueberry with hints of cocoa, baking spice, and delicate pine, Juicy and medium bodied; reveals rich fruits, sweet herbs, and milk chocolate; leads to plush tannins and an elegant finish. 91 Pts Falstaff
BTG $7.00 Retail $14.99

2013 Renato Ratti Marcenasco Barolo
Piedmonte, Italy
Absolutely delicious. Macerated cherry, spice, new leather and floral notes, along with soft contours (for a young Barolo) give the 2013 much of its bold, racy personality. Pliant, soft and inviting, the Marcenasco is a rare 2013 Barolo that will drink well with minimal cellaring. Expressive floral notes reappear on the finish, adding an attractive element of lift. Best of all, the 2013 delivers terrific quality for the money. 93 pts Antonio Galloni, 92 Pts Wine Advocate
Retail $54.99

2015 Kaiken Ultra Malbec
Mendoza, Argentina
Dense and rich-tasting, with a muscular mix of dark currant and black olive flavors that are supported by firm tannins. Cocoa powder and slate notes fill the finish, along with peppery hints. # 45 Wine Spectator 2017 Top 100, 90 Pts
BTG $8.75 Retail $21.99

2014 Hill Family The Barrel Blend
Napa Valley, California
A real sleeper of the vintage and an excellent value in Napa, which is a kitchen sink mélange of Merlot, Zinfandel, Malbec, Syrah, Petit Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Sangiovese. Dense ruby/purple color, with loads of red and black fruits, some exotic spices, soft tannins, and a medium to full-bodied mouthfeel, this is a heck of a delicious wine for the money. 90 Pts Robert Parker
BTG $10.75 Retail $27.99
