2013 Juve y Camps Reserva de la Familia
Penedes, Spain
This Cava of great personality owes its character to a harmonious blend of the classic, indigenous grape varieties. It is the winery’s emblematic Brut Nature which they have proudly named “Reserva de la Familia”. It is produced from the free run juice of Macabeo, Parellada and Xarel•lo grapes. The nose is generous, fruity and elegant, rich and complex from the long aging in bottle. On the palate it is quite dry, soft and round with a long and most exquisite finish. Pale gold in color, this Cava has aromas of mature white peach, toasted bread and
green tea with hints of lemon.

2015 Michael Pozzan Russian River Chardonnay
Sonoma, California
A shimmering golden straw color in the glass. The wine begins with clean, expressive aromas of red pair, mandarin orange, and light caramel. In the mouth, this Chardonnay shows bright flavors of Meyer lemon, golden delicious apple, and the subtle spiciness of white figs, with a touch of brown sugar on the soft finish. The wine shines with a well-balanced and food-friendly acidity, along with a perfect framing of oak that allows the pure fruit to shine.

2014 Selvapiana Chianti Rùfina
Tuscany, Italy
Light, airy and gracious, which is to say very much in the style of both the year and the appellation. Sweet dried cherry, tobacco, dried herb, licorice and anise all give the 2014 its weightless personality. Drink the 2014 sooner rather than later, while the perfume and brightness retain their poise. A model of total understatement and finesse, the 2014 simply hits all the right notes. 89 Pts Vinous
BTG $8.00 Retail $18.99

2015 Laussac Bordeaux Rouge
Bordeaux, France
The 2015 Laussac has a detailed, quite complex bouquet with lifted blackberry and cedar aromas, very expressive and welcoming. The palate is clean and fresh, very well balanced with grainy tannin, pure black and red fruit, and is beautifully poised with an elegant finish that is an absolute delight. Expect this to land at the top of my banded score – absolutely superb. 91-93 pts Wine Advocate
