2013 Juve y Camps Reserva de la Familia

This Cava of great personality owes its character to a harmonious blend of the classic, indigenous grape varieties. It is the winery’s emblematic Brut Nature which they have proudly named “Reserva de la Familia”. It is produced from the free run juice of Macabeo, Parellada and Xarel•lo grapes. The nose is generous, fruity and elegant, rich and complex from the long aging in bottle. On the palate it is quite dry, soft and round with a long and most exquisite finish. Light, airy and gracious, which is to say very much in the style of both the year and the appellation. Sweet dried cherry, tobacco, dried herb, licorice and anise all give the 2014 its weightless personality. Drink the 2014 sooner rather than later, while the perfume and brightness retain their poise. A model of total understatement and finesse, the 2014 simply hits all the right notes. 89 Pts Vinous
