2015 Fontsainte Corbier Gris de Gris
Languedoc-Roussillon ,France
Bright onion skin. Fresh and spicy on the incisive nose, displaying orange zest, red currant and white pepper aromas and a hint of succulent herbs. Dry and tightly wound, offering bitter cherry and tangerine flavors that unfold slowly with air. Ample but nervy as well, finishing with very good focus and spicy cut. 90 pts Josh Reynolds Vinous

2014 Janasse Cotes Du Rhone Reserve
Southern Rhone Valley, France
This Cote du Rhone Reserve is a bottling exclusively for the American market, a delicious blend of mostly old vine Grenache and Syrah with Mourvedre, Carignan and Cinsault. Aged entirely in foudre, this is as good as it gets for everyday Cotes du Rhone. Friendly, with a mix of cherry paste, fresh blood orange and red licorice notes. A twinge of plum skin holds the finish.
BTG $7.75 Retail $17.99

2013 Edge Cabernet
Napa Valley, Ca
89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc and 3% Merlot and is a major sleeper, as it is meant to sell for under $30.00 a bottle.. This wine shows terrific cassis fruit, a deep ruby/purple color, supple, velvety tannins and a lush, in-your-face extroverted style. This is perfect for restaurants and consumers looking for immediate gratification. Moreover, it should drink well for another 5-7 years.

2014 Vinum Cellars Petite Syrah
Clarksburg, Ca
The wine is uber concentrated and ripe with blueberry and boysenberry fruit which are elegantly wrapped in a silky vanilla wrapping. The entry of this dense Petite is both tannic and bold while maintaining a juicy, overripe profile displaying ample acidity to balance the tannins and fruit concentration making it multidimensional and food friendly. The finish is so supple and smooth that you will miss it when it is gone. 90 pts HV

2014 Ancient Peaks Zinfandel
Paso Robles, Ca
The 2014 Zinfandel opens exuberantly with aromas of raspberry, boysenberry, olallieberry pie and high-toned oak. The palate is juicy and jammy with luscious flavors of blackberry, black cherry and vanilla cream. A dash of black pepper lingers on a clean, composed finish that goes against the grain of more unrestrained Zinfandels. 90 pts TC
