The 2014 Raeburn Chardonnay shows an array of complex fruit tones ranging from pear and Gravenstein apple to nectarine. The fruit is beautifully complemented with toasted oak, vanilla and hints of Crème Brûlée with a balanced and elegant finish.

2014 Palacios Petalos Mencia
Bierzo, Spain
The aromas, are phenomenal, very complete and balanced, with an extra degree of complexity. There is great volume in the palate, fleshy, juicy and rich without being heavy, medium-bodied, There’s always a subdued minerality, a texture and mouthfeel difficult to find in wines of this price level. This is approachable now, but it will be better in one year and should develop nicely in bottle. this rich, velvet-textured red made from 60-100 year old Mencía vines grown on steep hillsides in Bierzo.
