2012 Vins El Cep Marques de Gelida Brut Gran Reserva
Penedes, Spain
Made from older vines and a higher elevation of the vineyard, and spends 40 months on its lees prior to being disgorged. The final blend encompasses five grapes: 20% Xarel-lo, 25% Macabeo, 20% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Noir and 15% Paralleda. This shows notes of fresh apple skins, white currants, grapefruit and other assorted citrus in a fresh, dry, light-bodied and amazingly pure style. This wine is clearly among the best values money can buy. The quality of what they produce is remarkable. 89 Pts Wine Advocate

2014 Domaine Drouhin Chardonnay Dundee Hills Arthur
The 2014 Arthur embodies the fresh, ripe qualities of the vintage. On the nose, there is candied lemon peel, white flowers, and a touch of honey and vanilla. On the palate, the Arthur is medium-full bodied, with rich texture and excellent mouth weight. The wine is round, with great balance, finishing clean and long. While delicious now, you can easily enjoy this wine over the next 5 to 7 years. 92 pts Wine Spectator

2015 Domaine de Fontsainte Rouge Corbieres
Languedoc-Roussillo, France
60% Carignan; 30% Grenache Noir; 10% Syrah
Round and concentrated attack with a balanced structure in the mouth, the tannins are delicate and the acidity luscious. Everything showcases the fruit, which follows up with a long finish.
BTG $7.00 Retail $15.99

2012 Ceretto Barolo
Piedmont, Italy
Ceretto presents a fine expression of Barolo (with fruit sourced from various sites) in the 2012 Barolo. The wine is redolent of pressed flowers, cassis, dried raspberry and grilled herb. Lighter, more vertical aromas of cola, smoke, campfire ash, dried ginger and toasted anise seed lift gently from the back. The mouthfeel boasts savory, ripe fruit and offers a distant note of succulent sweetness. 92 pts Wine Advocate

2014 Renacer “Milamore” Amarone-style Red Blend
Mendoza, Argentina
45% Malbec, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Bonarda, 5% Cabernet Franc
Uniquely dried and vinified in the Amarone style. The grapes that produce Milamore are sourced from 50+ years old vines located in three distinct high-altitude vineyards from the Mendoza region in Argentina. The grapes are dried on the vines (appassimento), until they loose 1/3 of their weight. After a prolonged fermentation (both alcoholic and malolactic) the wine is aged in new French barriques for 12 months.Dark ruby red in color, Milamore offers supple aromas of ripe berries, raisin, and plums. Sensual notes of exotic spices, charcoal and chocolate are seamlessly layered with the fruit. Full bodied, rich and complex, with a long finish beautifully framed by fine-grained tannins. This is a very special wine that will surprise many wine lovers.
