2015 Marchesa Gavi
Piedmont, Italy
Delicate aromas of honeydew melon, white spring flower and a whiff of lemon lead the nose on this refreshing white. The lively, straightforward palate offers green apple, white peach and a flinty note alongside bright acidity. 89 points Wine Enthusiast
BTG $7.00 Retail $15.99

2015 Novellum Chardonnay
Languedoc Roussillon, France
A custom cuvee created by importer Eric Solomon, is a smokin’ value that’s made from 100% Chardonnay that spent three months in tank (on Viognier lees) followed by three months in barrel. Tasting like it cost three times the price, it offers lots of orchard fruits, white peach, honeysuckle and a hint of vanilla to go with a medium to full-bodied, crisp, yet still textured and mouth-filling style on the palate. You can’t go wrong at the price and this is a terrific wine to enjoy over the coming year or two. 90 Pts Wine Advocate
BTG $6.50 Retail $13.99

2014 Brooks Runaway Red Pinot Noir
Willamette Valley, Oregon
Cinammon and rhubarb, macerated strawberry and fresh raspberries with hints of orange peel and pomegranate. A slight bright fresh herbal note, tomato leaf, cedar and mushroom. In the mouth there are similar notes of orange peel and rhubarb, with forest floor and sautéed mushrooms. The wine has a beautiful mouthfeel, round with bright acidity and a finish of red fruit. Cranberry and white cherry notes on the finish, lingers lengthy with a slightly earthy mineral note. Delicious, especially with a slight chill. 91 Pts Wine Spectator
BTG $9.75 Retail $24.99

2011 Izadi Reserva
Rioja, Spain
A 100% Tempranillo aged 14 months in American and French oak, the 2011 Reserva is an outstanding value showing beautiful black and red currant fruits, high-quality, unsmoked cigar tobacco, licorice and loamy soil undertones. Deep, medium to full-bodied, very pure, rich and concentrated, this is a gorgeous wine to drink over the next 3-4 years. 92 Pts Robert Parker
BTG $8.25 Retail $19.99

2012 Zenato Ripassa
Veneto, Italy
85% Corvina, 10% Rondinella, 5% Oseleta.
This wine is closely connected to the greatest wine of Valpolicella: Amarone. After pressing the dried grapes from which Amarone is made, the Valpolicella wine is passed over the still warm marc of Amarone. A second alcoholic fermentation begins which increases the alcoholic content and the wine becomes richer in colour. A velvety red, offering fine tannins and a pleasing palate of plump cherry, dried fig, espresso crème and baking spices. Juicy and well-balanced. 90 Pts Wine Spectator
BTG 9.25 Retail $22.99
