Graham Beck Wines NV Brut Rosé
Western Cape, South Africa
An effortlessly smooth blend of the two classic varieties – Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, sourced The Rosé NV was allowed enough time on the lees to develop subtle yeasty undertones but to burst with berry and cherry flavours. On the nose expect whiffs of raspberries, cherries and a few secondary aromas of minerality. The palate delivers a lively mousse but fine in the mouth, with subtle red berry flavours enlivened by bright acids. Showing hints of oyster shell and fresh lavender. Flirtatious and fun, yet elegant and structured, it’s perfect for all seasons and settings. The ultimate in food friendly wines. 89 Pts Vinous

Has a lovely spicy, cherry like bouquet and is bursting with sweet, berry flavors. There are also delicious overtones of black currant and plums, with a welcoming finish of vanilla and cinnamon toast. The wine is also very elegant and would be perfect with any spicy foods, game or beef.

2012 Bramare Malbec
Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina
Bright, full ruby-red. Aromas of blackberry, black raspberry, licorice, dark chocolate and sweet oak spices are lifted by a violet topnote. Creamy and subtly sweet, with high-class oak and nicely integrated acidity giving shape to the flavors of black raspberry, currant and dark chocolate. This very glossy wine finishes with fine-grained tannins and lovely persistence. Balanced from day one but has the density to evolve slowly and positively in bottle. 92 Pts Stephen Tanzer
BTG $13.00 Retail $36.99
