HOLLYWOOD VINE WINE TASTING
Tuesday October 13th, 2015
6-9 Pm No charge for Tastings

NV Zardetto Prosecco
Veneto, Italy
A blend of 95% Prosecco and 5% Chardonnay. Crystal clear with a hearty white foam and fine perlage. Fresh fragrant aromas and a delicately soft and harmonious taste are the hallmarks of this quintessential aperitif wine. 88 pts Wine advocate
BTG $6.50 Retail $13.99

2012 Domaine Drouhin Chardonnay Arthur
Dundee Hills, Oregon
It’s tempting to call this Burgundian, but it’s truly Oregonian—a lush, expressive mix of tart tree fruits, vivid acidity, lightly applied barrel toast, and smidges of coconut and vanilla. It was whole-cluster pressed, and fermented half in stainless, half in 30% new French oak. – Wine Enthusiast 94 points
Retail $36.99

2012 24 Knots Pinot Noir
Monterey, Ca
Fruit is grown on the Viento and Riverside Vineyards in the Monterey Bay region. Gradual slopes and calcareous shale soil at Viento produce fruit with vivid aromas and concentrated flavors, while the decomposed granite soils of Riverview Vineyard in northern Monterey County provide intense color and overall balance. A bouquet of bright strawberries and black cherries with notes of toast and earth balanced by a long, well-structured finish.
BTG $7.00 Retail $15.99

2010 Marquis de Grinon Syrah-Petit Verdot Dominio de Valdepusa Caliza
Teledo, Spain
A dense, inky red, showing espresso, black pepper and sanguine notes that shadow a core of black currant fruit. The tannins are fine-grained and well-integrated, and balsamic acidity leaves the finish fresh. 90 Pts Wine Spectator
BTG $8.25 Retail $20.99

2012 Lamadrid Cabernet Sauvignon Agrelo Reserva
Mendoza, Argentina
Deep ruby red color. Mocha, licorice and spice cake notes accent the ripe cassis and zesty cherry fruit character, with an iron-tinged finish.

BTG $8.75 Retail $21.99
