Family-owned winery led by James Stewart and is a wonderful example of the next generation winemakers that strive to grow quality fruit using sustainable methods and produce unpretentious fine wines using hand-crafted winemaking techniques. The Slingshot Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Napa from three different esteemed vineyards, primarily from the Julianna Vineyard in Pope Valley. The aromas are expressive and on the palate abounds upfront dark, rich fruit that is balanced by good acidity and tannins. Low tones of dried fruit, spice and mocha linger long while waiting for the next sip. It is aged for 22 months in French barrels of which 30% are new.
