Brilliant straw yellow with a green shimmer. Quite pronounced and expressive aroma with flowery and somewhat spicy notes. Rich flavoured in the mouth, with a slight smokiness at the back and a good, fresh finish.

2014 Tenuta Sant’Antonio Garganega, Chardonnay Scaia
Veneto. Italy
Pale straw yellow with greenish glints. Aroma of white acacia and jasmine flowers, bouquet of citrus fruits such as grapefruit, orange and pineapple, apple, pear and mango and a light touch of banana. Fresh and agreeable with a sustained acidity. Well-balanced softness and tang make it both inviting and intriguing.
