2013 Indaba
Western Cape, South Africa
Bright tropical fruit aromas lead to a crisp, fresh palate with mouth-filling flavors of apple, pear, honey and pineapple. A gentle kiss of oak adds a creamy butterscotch nuance and wonderful depth. A superb value . 87 Pts Wine Spectator & Wine Advocate
BTG $5.25 Retail $9.99

2012 HAZANA “Vinas Viejas”
Rioja, SPAIN
A spectacular wine made from 45- to 70-year-old bush vines (85% Tempranillo and 15% Graciano). Aged 12 months in French and American oak, it is difficult to believe a wine such as this could be available for under $35-40 a bottle, but here it is. A dense ruby/purple color is followed by aromas of lead pencil shavings, black currants, spice box, cedar and a touch of vanilla. Deep, medium to full-bodied and elegant yet suave, savory and expansive, this beautiful red is a perfect synthesis of the traditional and more progressive style of Rioja.

BTG $6.00 Retail $12.99

2013 Raats Red Jasper
Stellenbosch, South Africa
A blend of 85% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec and 2.5% each of Merlot and Petit Verdot. Raised for 16 months in French oak (20% new), it has a gorgeous nose, quite regal with intermingling red and black fruit, minerals, touches of black truffle coming through in the glass. The palate is very well balanced, fleshy in the mouth with fine acidity and a composed and harmonious finish defined by the citric acidity. 90-92 Pts Wine Advocate
BTG $8.00 Retail $19.99

2012 Zuccardi “Q” Malbec
Mendoza, Argentina
This is dark, with a racy edge to the cassis, crushed plum and raspberry notes, gliding along a full-bodied frame. Hints of cream and mocha balance the tannins on the finish. 90 Pts Wine Spectator
BTG $7.50 Retail 17.99

2012 Chappellet Mountain Cuvee 39% Cabernet Sauvignon 35% Merlot 12% Malbec 8% Petit Verdot 3% Cabernet Franc
Napa, Ca
The aromas are rich, ripe and enticing, with sweet fruit layers of plum, bing cherry and cassis, as well as notes of mocha, roasted co┬Čee, cedar and baking spices, all supported by delicious hints of French oak. On the palate, this wine is supple and round, with balanced tannins, weighty texture and a smooth, mouth lling structure. Though there are abundant ripe red and black fruit avors, there is also an elegant complexity to this wine that comes from artful blending.
BTG 11.00 Retail $29.99
