2013 DR. H. THANISCH Riesling QbA Feinherb Estate
Mosel, Germany
A minerally style, with ripe flavors of spiced peach, dried apple and red grapefruit. The long, vibrant finish is racy and focused. 89 Pts Wine Spectator
BTG $7.50 Retail $17.99

2013 Domaine Lafage Cote d’Est 50% Grenache Blanc, 30% Chardonnay, 20% Marsanne
Languedoc Roussillon, France
Aged in stainless steel on lees, is beautifully crisp and pure, with juicy acidity giving lift to notions of buttered citrus, green herbs and honeyed minerality. Medium-bodied, lively and certainly delicious, it’s a fantastic meal starter. 88 Pts Wine Advocate
BTG $6.25 Retail $13.99

2012 L’ECOLE No. 41 54% Merlot, 12% Syrah, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Mourvèdre, 4% Malbec, 4% Grenache, 4% Cabernet Franc
Columbia Valley, Washington
Shows aromas of fresh plum, black cherry and spice. The generous dark fruit flavors and concentrated structure of this great food wine will have you reaching for a second glass.
BTG $9.50 Retail $24.99

2012 Domaine Lafage Tessellae
Roussillon, France
100% old vine Carignan, aged ten months in concrete tank, that comes from vineyards in Maury and Les Aspres (both of which have schist soils). An old-world styled fruit-bomb, with its massive and decadently-styled blackberry fruit, spice, licorice and plum, this full-bodied effort has no hard edges, beautiful purity of fruit and a seamless texture that stays nicely focused and clean. Enjoy this sexy, voluptuous beauty over the coming 4-5 years (although I suspect it will last longer as well). 92 Pts Wine Advacate
BTG $7.00 Retail 16.99

2012 Novy Zinfandel
Russian River Valley, California
This fun Zin is jammy and ripe, delivering dark black cherry, spice and caramel flavors. The tannins sneak in on the finish. 89 Pts Wine Spectator
BTG $9.50 Retail $24.99
