2013 Burgans Albarino
Rias Baixas, Spain
Aged in stainless steel with lees stirring comes from a steep hillside, inland site that is harvested three to four weeks later than most of the coastal Albarinos. Offers crisp, fresh, lively honeysuckle, white peach and apricot notes, medium-bodied, dry flavors, and lots of fruit and perfume. 89 Pts Robert Parker
BTG $6.75 Retail $15.99

2013 Klein Constantia Sauvignon Blanc
Constantia, South Africa
It has a very attractive nose with scents of greengage, fresh gooseberry and dewy green apples. It is quite understated at first, gradually unfurling in the glass but all the time remaining extremely composed. The palate is fresh and crisp on the entry with gooseberry, Cornice pear and Granny Smith apples. It is nicely balanced with well-judged acidity. 90 Pts Wine Advocate
BTG $7.75 Retail $18.99

2008 Torre de Golban Crianza
Ribera del Duero, Spain
Opaque purple. Aromas of dark berries, licorice and candied violet, with a spicy topnote. Picks up floral nuances with air and shows deep black and blue fruits on the palate. A peppery note adds lift to the focused, persistent finish. 89 Pts Stephen Tanzer
BTG $5.75 Retail $11.99

2011 Milbrandt Cabernet Reserve
Wahluke Slope, Washington
A blend of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot, the 2011 The Estates Cabernet Sauvignon is a rocking value that offers up notions of creme de cassis, licorice, toast and freshly sharpened pencil on the nose. Fruit-forward, medium to full-bodied, voluptuous and with fabulous richness, it’s about as sexy as Cabernet. 90 Pts Wine Advocate
BTG $9.50 Retail $24.99

2012 Vinum Cellars Petite Sirah
Clarksburg, CA
The color is inky purple with maximum teeth staining capacity and has ripe plummy aromas backed with leathery and slight earth notes… On the palate this wine shines with ripe blue fruit such as blueberry, huckleberry and blackberries. These deep fruit notes sit on a silky tannin matrix of French oak with hints of vanilla, but finishes elegantly with cassis.
BTG $6.50 Retail $14.99
