2012 Domaine de San de Guilhem, Gascogne Blanc
Gascogne, France
A zesty and lively white wine with a nose of white fruits and a clean, crisp finish. The assemblage is mostly Colombard with Gros Manseng and a little Ugni Blanc added for freshness and deli-cacy.
BTG $5.75 Retail $11.99

2012 Chateau Pesquie Vdf Cuvee des Terrasses Blanc
Southern Rhone, Rhone, France
Comprised of 70% Viognier, 15% Roussanne and 15% Clairette that comes all from limestone soils. Aged all in cement tank and stainless steel, this juicy, medium-bodied and straight up delicious effort has notions of lavender, apricot, honey blossom and poached pear all emerging from the glass. 89 Pts Wine Advocate
BTG $6.75 Retail $15.99

2013 FINCA SOPHENIA Tupungato Altosur Cabernet
Mendoza, Argentina
A juicy and lush red, with a bright savory note to the red currant, raspberry and black licorice flavors. Complex and briary accents linger on the supple, creamy finish.90pts Wine Spectator
BTG $5.50 Retail $10.99

2012 Bodegas Filon Garnacha Old Vines
Calatayud Spain
Deep ruby. Assertive cherry and raspberry aromas, with an earthy mineral nuance coming up with air. Velvety in texture and appealingly sweet, offering lively red fruit and floral flavors with a touch of bitter chocolate. Closes with impressive clarity and energy, leaving juicy raspberry and floral pastille notes behind. The bang for the buck here is ridiculous. 90 Pts Stephen Tanzer
BTG $5.50 Retail $10.99

2012 Gran Passione Rosso
Veneto, Italy
This is one of our coolest finds in months. Full in body, dark in color, rich in berry flavors and soft in tannins, the Gran Passione is a blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Corvina. The Corvina is allowed to dry using the appassimento method, causing the fruit concentration and sugar levels to increase. It is the same technique used to make Amarone, and it is rarely used in wines as well-priced as this one! Look for some Amarone character along with ripe fruit flavors of dried cherry, raisin, prune and chocolate, and a hint of residual sugar. 90 Pts Our Score
BTG $6.25 Retail $13.99

2013 Domaine Gioulis Sofos
Korinthos, Peloponnese, Greece
Unoaked 50-50 blend of Moschofilero and Chardonnay. Viscous in texture now, this perky, fresh, summer white is simply delicious. With enough solidity in the mid-palate to seem somewhat serious, it also has that tasty young fruit and a vibrant feel. This is a nice bargain, for early consumption. It should be wonderful this summer, although it will certainly hold a couple of years. 88Pts Wine Advocate

2013 Chateau la Mascaronne Quat’Saisons Rose

A quintessential Provencal Rose that’s made from 70% Cinsault, 16% Grenache and 14% Syrah, the 2012 Quat’Saisons offers up a light pink color to go with mouthwatering aromas and flavors of wild strawberries, rose petal and salty minerality. Medium to light-bodied, juicy and gorgeously fresh and quaffable, with solid fruit and texture, it doesn’t get much better than this for a hot summer day and this beauty should be purchased by the case. 91 Pts Wine Advocate

2011 Swanson Cygnet Merlot
Oakville, Napa Valley
Shows an exuberant array of aromas, including plum, black cherry, exotic spices, espresso and sweet vanilla. On the palate, there is excellent definition and considerable power, yet at the same time, the wine is long, graceful and elegant.
