2012 Star Lane Sauvignon Blanc
Happy Canyon, Santa Barbara, Central Coast, California
A zingy, lively effort that offers up straightforward aromas (green apple, citrus and herbs), medium-body and a supple quaffable feel. It-s well-made. 88 Pts Wine Advocate
BTG $7.50 Retail $17.99

2012 Manciat Macon Charnay
Burgundy, France
Plush, exhibiting peach, candied apple and marshmallow notes, backed by brisk acidity. Ends with a flourish of fennel seed.
88 Pts Wine Spectator
BTG $7.50 Retail $17.99

2012 Texier Cote Du Rhone “Brezeme”
Rhone Valley, France
(100% syrah): Inky purple. Potent mineral- and smoke-tinged dark berry, olive and candied violet scents are lifted by a peppery nuance. Emphatically syrah, displaying energetic black and blue fruit flavors and a strong spicy overtone. Becomes sweeter with air while maintaining its savory aspect, finishing with firm tannic grip and echoing floral character. I’ll bet that this wine, which is a superb value, could do some damage in a blind flight of Cote-Roties. 91 Pts Stephen Tanzer
BTG $9.00 Retail $22.99

2012 Bedrock ” Shebang” 60% Zinfandel with the balance being Carignan, Alicante Bouchet, Syrah
Sonoma, California
This is a delicious blend that is spicy and full bodied. It’s a fun wine that is perfect for everyday drinking but also has some serious pedigree. The base for Shebang! comes 100+ year old vines from the Bedrock Vineyard.
BTG $7.00 Retail $16.99

2011 Bonanno Cabernet
Napa, California
A deep ruby red, this seductive Cab shows classic Cabernet Sauvignon aromas of spice and sage followed by a mix of blueberries and blackberries with fresh raspberry notes. With a nice balance of acid and well integrated tannins, this wine is smooth, supple and sleek in the mouth: it is well balanced across the palate showcasing flavors of dark fruit, currants and hints of mineral and anise
BTG $8.50 Retail $21.99
