Mosel, Germany

The wine is bright and clean in the glass with a beautiful golden yellow tone.The aromas of fresh butter, vanilla oak, and citrus fruit with a floral, jasmine hint.
Buttered popcorn and vanilla oak characters mingle with flavors of honeydew melon, lemon peel, papaya, jasmine, honeysuckle, banana, and lychee.

2011 Mettler Old Vines Zinfandel

Full of personality and shows it off with an expressive array of bright aromas and flavors. Enticing scents of plum, strawberry and vanilla are followed by a wisp of anise. Bold, yet bright and complex flavors of plums, black cherries, dark berries and tobacco are balanced by a hint of smooth dark chocolate that enrobes the palate in richness.
