2011 Star Lane Sauvignon Blanc
Santa Barbara
Vivid aromas of wild spring flowers, gooseberries, mandarin orange, guava and kiwi explode from the glass. On the palate, regular stirring of the lees offer a sense of balance and poise and contribute to the weight and mouth feel. With plenty of natural acidity keeping things vibrant and structured.
BTG $7.50 Retail $17.99

2010 Ramey Russian River Chardonnay
Sonoma
A rich, enveloping wine, the 2010 Chardonnay Russian River Valley caresses the palate with layers of bright, focused fruit. This is an especially saline, intense vintage of the Russian River bottling. Crushed rocks, lime and white flowers flow through to the finish. 92Pts Robert Parker
BTG $11.00 Retail $29.99

2011 Bernabelleva Caminos de Navaherre Grenacha
Madrid, Spain
Vivid red. Fresh strawberry and raspberry aromas are brightened by notes of blood orange and white flowers. Light-bodied but concentrated red berry flavors show good bite and lift, with a mineral quality adding focus. A clean, vibrant wine that finishes with surprising power and very good length. 90 Pts Stephen Tanzer
BTG $7.00 Retail $16.99

2011 Palmina Dolcetto
Santa Barbara
“Dolcetto” translates to “little sweet one”- not because it is a sweet wine (it is perfectly dry) – because it is a friendly and easygoing grape to work with and so pleasurable in the glass. Even Dolcetto’s hue speaks to its easy going nature, with a deep and bright ruby color inviting a sip. The nose is spicy and very berry, with a hint of spice mingling with blackberry aromas that waft from the glass. On the palate, there is a perception of hard-candy sweetness that mingles with a beautifully balanced acidity and soft tannin structure. Concentrated black raspberry and plum preserve flavors are interlaced with a subtle earthy minerality that leaves a lasting impression of raspberry, a hint of “red vine” licorice and toasted almonds at last sip.
BTG $7.75 Retail $18.99

2011 Bedrock Old Vines Zinfandel
Sonoma
Bright red cherries, tobacco, licorice, fennel and spices are layered together beautifully. A stunning value, the 2011 stands out for its exceptional balance and polish. This is a decidedly elegant, restrained Zinfandel that nevertheless has serious personality. Within the context of Zinfandel, the style is floral and high-toned throughout. 90 Pts Wine Spectator
BTG $11.75 Retail $31.99
