This Tuesday we’ll be tasting three wines from California and two wines we recently tried and like a lot from the most important Winery
in Chile. We hope you will join us!

2011 St Supery Sauvignon Blanc
Lemongrass, green apple, lemon and lime zest notes are intense, mouthwateringly juicy, and a bit pungent, with plenty of focus. A smooth mouthful of ripe melon flavors chimes in on the finish. 89 pts Wine Spectator.
BTG $6.75 Retail $16.99

2009 Cameron Hughes Pinot Noir
Emerges from the glass with dark cherry, raspberry, spice and floral notes. Fine, silky tannins grace the refined, medium-bodied finish. This is another tasty wine that offers very high quality for the money. 88 pts Robert Parker

2010 Concha y Toro Gran Reserva Serie Riberas Cabernet Sauvignon
Colchagua, Rapel Valley, Chile
The 2010 Riberas Cabernet Sauvignon (with 10% Carmenere in its makeup) was sourced from the Palo Santo Vineyard in Marchigue, Colchagua Valley. It spent 14 months in mostly seasoned French and American oak. It offers up an initially reticent nose of cedar, tobacco, spice box, violets, and black currant. This sets the stage for a wine with layered fruit, savory, spicy flavors, excellent volume, and a lengthy, pure finish. This excellent value can be approached now but will drink nicely for another 5-6 years. 89 pts Robert Parker
BTG $6.75 Retail $16.99

2010 Concha y Toro Carmenere Marques de Casa Concha
Peumo Valley, Aconcagua, Chile
Marques de Casa Concha Carmenere contains 14% Cabernet Sauvignon in its makeup. The fruit was sourced from the superb Peumo Vineyard in Rapel Valley with the wine aged for 18 months in 42% new French oak. It displays a more brooding personality in its promising bouquet of sandalwood, exotic spices, dried herbs, floral notes, plum, and blackberry. In the glass it is full-bodied, rich, plush, and structured. 91 pts Robert Parker
BTG 8.00 Retail $20.99

2010 Pezzi King Zinfandel
