Kronenbourg 1664
Pours a golden straw yellow with a finger width of bubbly, foamy white head. Plenty of bubbles to be seen and sticking to the glass. Sweet malts, apples, grains flavors are well balanced with one another. Slightly bready. Finishes with a nice grassy grain taste. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Crisp and refreshing. There are some well balanced grassy grain and malt flavors, which sets this brew apart from others in the same style category.

Tucher Helles Hefe Weizen
The body, which is an attractive cloudy banana peel color. The frothy head does stay up well. Full of aroma, this hefeweizen is loaded with lemon, clove, bubblegum, and banana bread. Bakery in a glass. Bring on the lemon, banana bread, slap of alcohol, and cloves. There’s some phenolic activity in there. It’s light-medium bodied with modest crispness. Rich and creamy, soft and sudsy. Incredible mouth feel, especially at the 45-50 degrees

Napa Smith IPA(Organic)
Pours a copper pale color with a bright slightly off white head, thick creamy head left in layers. Aroma has a citrus, floral hop nose, even keeled not super hoppy, but a nice malt balance. Hoppy floral notes, earthy citrus tones matched with this biscuit malt/caramel combo. Moderate bitterness, pine, citrus, and earthy notes. A nice mix of caramel malt balance and hops. Mouth feel has moderate carbonation with a touch of oily hop oils.

Unibrew La Findumonde White Ale
Nice light golden color. Hazy with a big head with a good dynamic of bubbles. Smells of pineapple, peach, lemon, orange, grass, wheat. The taste is refreshing – honey, wheat, mild orange/citrus, malts. Sweetness level is just right. Very little alcohol taste. Very bubbly. While not being overwhelming. Good body with moderate level of carbonation. not syrupy at all.

Full Sail Amber
Pours chestnut brown with a bit of chill haze and a thin, cream colored head that sticks in patches. Aroma of french toast, toffee, earthy grains, and a hint of evergreen (spruce?). Taste is malt forward, with a slight sugary sweetness of whole grain muffin with maple syrup and some mild spice. Grassy, slightly lemony tang in the semi-dry finish. Body is medium with a round, smooth mouth feel. Easy drinking amber that is all about malts and a bit of spicy playfulness.

Corsendonk Pale
Very dark brown with tantamount head of over creamed coffee color. Sticky foam laces in coats. Looks like a beer float. Dark fruits and coffee in the nose. Vanilla, prune, fig, and apple. Mocha, berries, apple, grape, and clove. Dusty cocoa and light cinnamon stick. Hint of booze and iron. Low carbonation, wet body. Slight metallic feel.

100% Barbera grapes grown in the “Valletta”, vineyard of the Rivetti family farm in the Rivetti area of the Municipality of Neive. Calcareous clay soils with south-westerly exposure.Colour: deep ruby red.Perfume: intense, vinous with a pervasive aroma of ripe fruit. Flavour: fresh and pervasive.

Corvina 40% Corvinone 20% Rondinella, Molinara e Sangiovese 40%
Bright ruby. Vibrant aromas of redcurrant, blackberry and candied violet on the knockout nose. Quite juicy on the palate, with floral red berry flavors given laser-like precision by lovely harmonious acidity. This very well balanced wine could probably use a bit more complexity but it’s so clean and clear that you’ll find it hard to put the glass down. It also puts most other Valpolicellas to shame, hence my high score.

This style of Sauvignon Blanc is innately crisp and racy, yet due to the clone also has a rich, round mouth texture. Straw-like in color, the bouquet features bright white grapefruit, lemon and melon aromas, as well as underlying notes of hay and mineral characters. Replete with acidity, the wine is aromatic, clean and refreshing.
