Gonzaga Terre di San Leonardo , 2008
50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc.
Tenuta San Leonardo is a small farming community on the hydrographical left of the river Adige. It lies halfway between the villages of Masi and Borghetto in the southernmost corner of Trentino, where it borders on the province of Verona. Brilliant ruby red, with attractive depth and length. There are aromas of ripe plum fruit layered over a faintly grassy background note.
