Don’t Forget Friday Beer Tasting 7 to 9 PM

For next Tuesday we’ll have an all Italian line up; wines from these regions; Sardinia, Tuscany, Venezia Giulia and Abbruzzo. Renato Spano who we’re proud to say is our good friend we’ll be presenting the wines from the Empson
Portfolio. We’re super excited that Renato will be pouring his own Wine from his home land Sardinia. It’s the
First Vintage of what has been a labor of love. His dream come true. Please join us to taste and congratulate him.

85% Sangiovese, 10% Ciliegiolo and 5% Alicante from Scansano in Maremma, Tuscany
A bouquet with aromas of dark, dried cherry, smoke, raspberry and violets. Vibrant on the palate, this medium bodied wine achieves fantastic balance with its good acidity levels and beautiful lengthy finish.

Bortoluzzi Cabernet Sauvignon, 2009
100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the plains of Isonsa in Venezia Giulia
Brilliant ruby in color, the nose is intense and spicy, with a pleasing herbaceous note and touches of vanilla from the wood and excellent fruit, reminiscent of berries and underbrush. On the palate, shows delicacy, finesse and velvety texture.
