Schramsberg Mirabelle Brut, MV
55% Chardonnay and 45% Pinot Noir
Mirabelle is Schramsberg’s multi-vintage brut sparkling wine. This young, bright bubbly, principally comprised of Chardonnay, exhibits the crisp acidity and vibrant green apple, citrus fruit that is characteristic of this grape when grown in the North Coast. Pinot Noir adds body, mid-palate and further depth of fruit flavor. Unlike a vintage bottling, Mirabelle gains unique depth from the additions of lots aged in barrels and tanks at the winery from prior vintages. These older base-wine lots, which typically form up to 20% of the finished blend, add significant palate richness and aromatic complexity.

Silverado Carneros Chardonnay
Pale straw in color. Mineral, pear, yellow apple and light tropical fruit and floral aromas. Perfectly balanced palate, citrus and apple fruit flavors with flinty notes on a moderately long finish.
BTG $ 7.50 Retail $18.99

Forefront Pinot Noir, 2010
Sourced from diverse vineyards located on the Central Coast of California, the defining characteristic is coastal influence. The San Luis Obispo County grapes provide a base of dense, black fruit and spice notes, due to rich soils and a long growing season. Santa Barbara County, with its marine soils and warmer climate, adds bright, lifted red cranberry and strawberry. The small amount of Sonoma County adds an interesting counterpoint of varietal earthy undertones.
BTG $ 8.50 Retail $21.99

Louis Martini Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, 2008
The 2008 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits a deep burgundy color with intense aromas of blackberry, licorice, cedar and hints of dried herbs. Concentrated flavors of black cherry marry perfectly with the oak nuances, imparting notes of clove, vanilla and caramel. This is a well structured and balanced wine that is medium to full bodied, with a sweet mid-palate and a long, fruit-forward finish.

BTG $ 8.50 Retail $21.99

Buehler Napa Valley Zinfandel, 2010
This 2010 vintage has aromas of a briar patch on a hot summer day carry over to the palate and are carried in a mouth-filling, flavorful, juicy package. The wine was crafted for immediate enjoyment but for those who enjoy a more complex wine displaying some bottle-aged character, aging for another two to three years is a good option.
(This vintage has not been reviewed but the previous vintage was in the Wine Spectator top 100)
BTG $ 8.00 Retail $20.99
