Scharffenberger Brut, NV
The wine is approximately two-thirds Chardonnay and one-third Pinot Noir from Mendocino County. The full malolactic style adds a vanilla cream character, producing a round and full-bodied wine. After approximately two years on the yeast lees, there are notes of freshly baked bread and pastry that enhance the more fruit-forward style of the wine. Finally, after several months on the cork the wine develops caramel and hazelnut complexity.

BTG $ 7.25 Retail $17.99
Laurent Perrier Brut
Refined, with a sweet, smoky undercurrent to the flavors of glazed pear, candied lemon zest and golden raisin, with a hint of marzipan. Racy acidity frames, but doesn’t dominate the wine, with a spicy note lingering on the finish.

Sbragia Family Sauvignon Blanc Dry Creek Valley, 2010
This succulent white has apricot, peach and nectarine flavors that are ripe and perfectly juicy. Shows plenty of power and the finesse of a fleshy texture and a long, detailed finish.

BTG $ 7.50 Retail $18.99

Ladera Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, 2007
A dark ruby/plum-colored blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Petit Verdot and Malbec, it offers up notes of plums, cassis and blue fruits, silky tannins, a fleshy, ripe style and not a hard edge to be found. This impressive effort is the type of Cabernet Sauvignon that normally costs 2-3 times the price.

BTG $ 12.00 Retail $29.99

Michelle Castellani Amarone Classico della Valpolicella Colle Cristi, 2006
