This Pouilly-Fuisse is a barrel-fermented-and-aged 100% Chardonnay offering smooth pear and tropical fruit with a hint of banana, along with notes of vanilla, buttery oak, and a creamy richness. Although rich, it has plenty of acidity to keep it balanced and fresh. It is a classic Pouilly Fuisse at a value price.

Block 9 Cainden Vineyards Pinot Noir, 2009

The Block Nine Pinot Noir shows a deep, rich color. The aromas show generous bright fruit with a mix of strawberry, violets, dark cherry and hints of leather. Viticcio Chianti Classico, 2007

Viticcio’s 2007 Chianti Classico is a soft, joyous wine that captures the essence of this vintage in its generous dark fruit and accessible personality. Ideally the wine is best enjoyed on the young side, while the fruit is still plump.

Zeepard Shiraz, 2008

2008 vintage was as close to perfect as the Great Southern region of Australia had in many years. The days were warm and dry and the nights were cool offering optimum conditions for ripening grapes. The palate is medium bodied with intense plum and berry flavors. These are nicely combined with spicy white pepper and a touch of oak is evident.

 BTG $5.00                                        Retail $10.99
