Next Tuesday we’ll start with a Sauvignon Blanc from the North of Italy; then a Pinot Blanc from one of the world’s most prestigious Estates in Alsace, France a rich and powerful Pinot Blanc. Then to the Dundee Hills in Oregon where we’ll be tasting a true gem of a Pinot Noir; followed by a juicy Cabernet Sauvignon from  Valle Escondido, Chile and we end with a yummy Zinfandel from California.  All beautiful places with personality and charm just as the wines they produce.

Cantina La Vis Dipinti Sauvignon Blanc, 2009  

This Sauvignon Blanc has a straw yellow color, with golden tints, showing notes of blackcurrant and grapefruit. The palate is fresh and well balanced with pleasing array of fruity tones.

Terra Andina Cabernet Sauvignon, 2009

Bright and deep ruby color; with intense aromas and a sweet first touch. Reminds blackcurrant and plums mingled harmoniously with graphite and toasted coffee flavors.
Very well structured in the palate and concentrated. It has a soft texture with firm and rounded tannins which give a very long aftertaste.

Grayson Zinfandel, 2009

The Grayson Zinfandel shows a dark color with rich mixed raspberries, strawberries and brambles surrounded by hints of spice including black pepper and cinnamon. Intense richness carries through on the palate of this full bodied wine with explosive blackberry and raspberry pie flavors. The wine’s finish is long and elegant.
