TOM EDDY TENZ SAUVIGNON BLANC, 2007

TENZ is a winegrowing partnership between the Eddy Family and our grower friends in Marlborough, just miles from Cloudy Bay. Notes of grapefruit, kiwi, fig, litchi, and hay greet us in the aroma; the middle mouth is very round and full, yet is perfectly balanced with the acid on the finish with mouth-watering flavors of crisp lemon and pink grapefruit.

BTG $5.75                                        Retail $14.99

KUMEU RIVER VILLAGE CHARDONNAY, 2008

This wine was fermented 1/3 French oak barriques, and 2/3 in stainless steel tanks to allow emphasis on the ripe peach and melon aromas of the Chardonnay frui; it  features very attractive lifted fruit aromas, along with a touch of nuttiness: the hint of hazelnut that is so typical of Chardonnay. The palate also shows a nice peachy ripeness along with a crisp flinty character that gives the wine a refreshing cleansing quality.

BTG $7.50                             Retail $19.99

MOHUA PINOT NOIR 2008

From Central Otago, we bring you the Mohua  wines at 45deg South, this is the southernmost grape growing region of New Zealand an perhaps the world; the wine has aromas of violets, dried fruits and cherry. The palate has sweet cherry, plum and spice with full mouth feel, fine tannin structure and a very long warm finish.

BTG $8.75                            Retail $22.99

GRANT BURGE MIAMBI, 2007

The fruit is grown mainly in the Miamba vineyard, at the southern end of the Barossa, the Miamba Shiraz is a richly coloured dark garnet with youthful purple hues. The wine bursts with intense aromas of blackberries wrapped in milk chocolate with complimentary sweet spice. The palate round and luscious with generous fruit flavours, intense raspberries, peppered spice and subtle vanillin oak. A wine with excellent weight, rounded tannins and excellent length.
